I grew up a lover of art and all things visual, and knew at an early age I wanted to be A Creative Person. I love seeing and using art to tell a story, and connecting with characters in those stories is one of many things that drew me towards design. (My art portfolio can be viewed here, by the way!)

Being a UX designer requires empathy and a desire to understand other people and their struggles. My day job as a designer gives me the satisfaction of using those skills to help others. I also volunteer in my free time here and there between personal projects, playing video games, and hiding from dangerous UV rays.

And yes, I do enjoy beer. Easy on the hops, though.
